about me

hello friends! my name is haley lewis & i'm a natural history-inspired artist. when i'm not doing research in my immunology lab, you can find me either throwing in the pottery studio or sketching in a coffee shop somewhere. i've been depicting the world around me through artwork practically since i could hold a crayon. i hope that my pieces invoke in you the same childlike wonder and curiosity that led to their creation in the first place. the goal of my gallery is that one feels like they're walking past the glass cases of preserved specimens in a museum, strolling through a biodiverse forest on an afternoon hike, or shuffling through display boxes from a curated rock collection. thanks for stopping by, and enjoy exploring!
