handmade illustrations & ceramics guided by nature

leaf-bug studio is a collection of my artwork inspired by the natural world. between handmade illustrations, ceramics, jewelry, and more, i hope that my pieces invoke in you the same childlike wonder and curiosity that led to their creation in the first place! the goal of my work is that one feels like they're walking past the glass cases of preserved specimens in a museum, strolling through a biodiverse forest on an afternoon hike, or shuffling through display boxes from a curated rock collection.

The Bug Mug Collection

in attempt to merge two of my favorite things (insects & ceramics), the bug mug collection was born. bugs make up the largest percentage of the world's organisms and come in a variety of shapes and sizes that are just perfect for a mug handle!

Hand-Painted Trinket Dishes

the perfect dish for keeping your jewelry, coins, keys, and any other trinkets all in one place - guarded by a little hand-painted critter!

Salt Marsh Moth Shadowbox

this design intends to mimic preserved insects using acrylic paint and sustainably sourced/secondhand frames.

The Artist & Her Frames

when your art is inspired by nature, it just makes sense to set up a gallery outdoors! all of these frames are secondhand, as it's important to keep decor out of the landfills.

The finished product is beautiful! I love having one of her prints in our home.

Christie

Beautiful prints, I would purchase again!

Taly

Love my art from Haley so much!
